Koralle & Yawuh – Until We Lift It (feat. Tiff The Gift)

Bologna beatmakers Koralle and Yawuh share “Until We Lift It” featuring Virginia MC Tiff The Gift, taken from their upcoming album “Primo Quarto” (October 24 on Melting Pot Music). The collaboration grew from a musical friendship that developed in their Bologna apartment building – Yawuh on the first floor, Koralle’s studio on the fourth.

“Until We Lift It” features guitar work from Piergiorgio Perrella alongside Tiff The Gift’s introspective flow. The track represents the balance between light and dark that defines “Primo Quarto” – an Italian expression referring to the first quarter moon, when it’s half-illuminated and half in shadow.

“Primo Quarto” features 13 tracks with contributions from local Bologna musicians Matteo Magnaterra, Piergiorgio Perrella, Giovanni Tamburini, and Gianluca Arcesilai. Three US MCs appear – Anti-Lilly, Tiff The Gift, and Physical Graffiti – alongside producer friends Saib, Phlocalyst, and Lorenzo Morresi.
